East ¬ or West?

Standing in the middle of this barren land, feeling like I'm either in the set of that movie where kids have to escape that maze (am I in it or have I managed to escape my demons? ) or I've turned up very extra to an `end of the world` party - so like me to dress up for such an important event. But where is everyone? @thebestolcayever is with me because he had to take my pictures. Mental note - you can`t make way fast in a desert with high heels, wear sneakers for real thing.

Once again, wow.

Ever since `experiencing` Qatar (yes, I would describe Qatar as an `experience` rather than a `stay` and I believe any student of politics should come and see how nationbuilding can have a template), i have always maintained that funds alone aren`t enough to be a `visionary`.

What sets Q (thank you to all my university instructors who beared with my obsession for abbreviations in exams) apart from other wealth states, my limited mind thinks, (sorry Dubai and even the US) is that it desires to use its wealth to bring a vision to life (possible next article on nationbuilding).

You can have all the wealth in the world (again, Q) but still lack the aeasthetic sense to make your home beautiful.

I both love and admire (yes, loving and admiring are two different emotions) the way Sheikha Mozah has been leading (I assume?) these efforts to make her country a success story. It definitely is one for me. No I am not trying to be a people pleaser, the achievements made by this landscape-wise small nation go far beyond its size.

Enjoy our amateur photoshoot. We are getting better at it with practice. I have definitely surpassed Mr O with my photography skills though :) Thank you, @thebestolcayever for making me like photography. I had no clue about it before meeting you. Now, capturing a pretty moment and going back to it gives me great joy.
